WE CAN BUT ONLY BE PHILOSOPHICAL
Reality is, but reality bites – sometimes when we least expect, want or think that we can deal with it.
Certainly we have all had this experience. However Mindfulness and Wisdom can prevail in helping us see clearly and gain ground when we either think or feel that the ground is sliding away from underneath us.
Our Mindfulness and Meditation practice, our re-perspective from Understanding and Wisdom can offer firm footing to help regain our poise and presence.
Take heart from my verse below.
We can but be.
We can but only be.
We can but only be philosophical.
We can but only be philosophical,
In perceiving and in receiving; in doing and in dealing with
The existential realities that are our life and that are existence.
Not to approach or apprehend,
From a philosophical position and perspective,
Is to create causes and conditions for great stress and great struggle.
To become caught in emotion and become emotional,
Is to lose our balance, our bearing, our calm and our clarity.
It is to unwittingly waste our precious life – time and energy.
It is for such reason that both wise and good,
People of all ages, take up a practice path of Wisdom Principles.
To see and be, to feel and find, a way beyond the want of the world.
So, what is the point and what is the purpose,
Of reacting through the day and raging through the night?
No relief, result or final resolution is found in that.
The situation may seem hopeless but we need not feel helpless;
Our freedom and our fearlessness, is sourced in seeing clearly.
The solution and the resolution can be found in being Philosophical!
