Spring Newsletter 2022
Welcome to Spring 2022.
Certainly, with the passing of minutes, hours, days, weeks and months, we find our selves’ in the
Season of Spring.
Here in the Southern Hemisphere, when Spring arrives it means that we are already two-thirds through the year, with just four months before our year ends!
Whilst all the Seasons of the year have their particular beauty, worth and wealth; Spring has a special
attraction for us all with the blossoming of Nature. As we appreciate our own fundamental Nature as
part of the great eco-system, Human Beings also feel a sense of relief at the passing of Winter and the
growing warmth and beauty of Spring.
No matter where we live on this wonderful planet – Spring is a wonderful Season appreciated by all
living creatures. However, we need to ‘come to our senses’ both literally and metaphorically to
appreciate Spring through Nature and thus experience the psycho-physical joy that the season of Spring
offers to us.
Spring calls us to come to our senses and be Mindful, Receptive, Attentive and Kind-ful to Nature and the Natural Environment. Spring reminds us of something regenerative and blossoming within our selves.
That urge to grow to develop and evolve; this is the birth right of us all – both physically and especially Psycho – Spiritually!
May Mindfulness and Kind-fulness, experienced as a Heart-fulness – connect us more fully with Life and
our Life, to our self and others, through our experience of Spring.
I offer my Verse below as inspiration towards that end.
May we all have a wonderful Spring Season in 2022.
SPRING AWOKE FROM HER WINTERS SLEEP
Spring awoke from her Winters sleep;
She had an appointment with time;
She needed to keep!
Sharing her warmth across the land;
We felt her caring, regenerating;
Flora and fauna does rejoice;
As Winters grey days;
Are not their choice.
Blossoms appear on bushes and trees;
A multiplicity of bright flowers;
Sweet pollen for butterflies, birds and bees.
Spring is a season of sensory joy;
Enhanced when Mindfulness;
We intentionally employ.
Spring lightens and brightens our Mind;
Inspiring us to let-go and leave
The pains of the past behind!
Nature in Spring calls to our senses;
Diminishing mind-made stress;
Disarming Psychological Defences.
Spring calls us to here to this day;
To what is Good, Right and Real;
To feel actually okay!
Let us appreciate Springs beauty while it does last;
Because with the passing of time;
We know that this Spring too, will become the past!
