Always and Forever – Ever Leaving and Arriving
Dear Friends
How long do we ever spend in one place?
So often we may be here but thinking about going there; and in being there we have thoughts about being else-where.
Life is a process of ongoing flux and flow. Becoming more aware of this we can find flow in the flux without so much stress and struggle.
My verse below expresses the wonder and the mystery of the ever arriving and leaving.
John B.
ALWAYS AND FOREVER – EVER LEAVING AND ARRIVING
We are a lifetime,
Forever arriving into that place
We call somewhere,
Which is always and for ever just no-w-here!
That somewhere, anywhere,
Everywhere, no-w-here,
Is ever and only always just for a moment;
A moment lived and lost in time for ever!
For we are a lifetime,
Always and forever leaving,
This place, that place, any place, every place.
There is no place that we can find,
To finally stand and stay, to sit and lie,
To live or die forever.
There is always and only,
The ever arriving and leaving,
All too soon and all at once.
In leaving is found the arriving,
In arriving is bound the leaving;
Both arriving and leaving found and bound together.
And in all of this,
There is not a single person sought or seen.
There is no one to be arriving, and no one that is lost in leaving.
For here there is nothing happening;
Because nothing ever happened, and there will be nothing to ever happen;
And in this, there is just this and that is all!
