The Alchemy of Experience, The year been and the year to become!
Like all things that come into being and then change or pass away, so too this year of ours now finds its ending.
With Mindfulness and Wisdom, we can transform experiences into opportunities for great growth of Insight and Understanding. This can especially be the case where life has been challenging. This is what I call ‘The Alchemy of Experience’. Here we can transform some base unpleasant experience into the priceless worth and wealth of Wisdom.
We now have a whole year to reflect and review, to contemplate and consider, before we venture forth into our new year next week of 2019.
I wish you some Mindful Time for ‘The Alchemy of Experience’ and a Wonderful year ahead 2019.
THE ALCHEMY OF EXPERIENCE – THE YEAR BEEN AND THE YEAR TO BECOME!
The reflective and reflexive capacity of our mind,
Offers us a great gift and beneficial boon,
To pause, ponder and consciously consider our lived life,
That has now moved into the place and position of the past.
Through remembering and reminding,
Through recollecting and reflecting,
We can gain great insight and wise understanding,
From our life lived and potential lessons learned.
With this mind-sight and hind-sight,
We can recollect the happenings and doings
Of our year near to finalising and finishing.
Another year in our life and of our life; lived out – done!
What worth of this period of precious time and energy now spent?
How Mindfully and Heartfully have we made and moved through this year?
What and where have the lessons been?
What have we learned, gleaned and gained from our year?
So too, what wisdom-insights and evolved-understandings;
What degree of revelations and depth of realisations,
Can we now carry forth on our journey into our fore coming
New Year, arising on the horizon of our path ahead?
If not already, do take Mindful-Time;
To take pause, become present and to ponder.
To remind, review and reflect; to determine and to detect, the worth and wealth of wisdom,
That we walk with, into our New Year 2019.
