Students view the HSC as stressful – but this can be changed
We completed our 4 week HSC - Help Stay Calm during the HSC Journey (Co-Presented by John Barter & Megan Miller).
We like to refer to our students in year 11 and 12 as 'Emerging Adults'.
These emerging adults view the HSC as a very stressful time - however changing this thinking to a perception of it being a challenge of learning and growth can create a much more positive attitude with more joy around the whole HSC experience.

Walking Meditation as a way to move around when sitting at a desk for long periods
Week 3 of the HSC - Help Stay Calm through the HSC Course covered Mindful Exams, the physical changes that occur through anxiety and stress, and WALKING MEDITATION as a way for students to get up from their desk while studying or working and move around to help clear the mind and reduce stress.
With just one week to go, next week will consolidate all the learning and cover the final 4 of the 7 Wise Attitudes.

Our second week of our NEW HSC - Help Stay Calm during the HSC Journey Course raised issues facing emerging adults today - difficulties in balancing sleep and well-being with the demands of school, sport, friends and family.

HSC – Course off to a good start
John Barter & Megan Miller co-presented at our first HSC Course this week.
Students and Parents enjoyed the introduction to the benefits of using Mindfulness & Meditation to enhance both physcial and mental performance giving students the "X Factor" in approaching their studies and life generally.
Parents liked spending the time sharing in something so worthwhile with their emerging adult children.
