I very much appreciate a Mind-Body approach to health and healing.

Dear Friends Thank you so much for your messages of best wishes and regards. So much of what I talk about and teach – both with clients and the Meditation Groups, comes from my own personal experience. This is certainly the case when talking about wise ways of working with health issues or illness. I often speak about life offering a sometimes unexpected enforced ‘retreat’. The timeless present - the eternal moment? In Realising Reality, we realise what we are, beyond, identification with past or future and all things time based. The eternal JUST NOW - no beginning and no end! Freedom - Peace.   John B

A colleague this week emailed me some information about current Psychological research on the use of Facebook. The research indicates that the use of Facebook is related to depression - through people comparing themselves with others. I reflected that Buddha offers some Psychological medicine for this in pointing out the importance of MUDITA - 'Joy With...

Gratefulness – How being grateful can help you to be happy

From my own experience, life can be challenging and disappointing at times but if we are relating and interfacing from the mind set and heart set of Gratefulness – Appreciative Joy, it can make all the difference between feeling disheartened and feeling heartful. Gratefulness is that healing balm for the pains of progress and allowing our positive potentials to be fulfilled. Just a simple saying like – ‘what experience have I had today to be grateful for’ – can be a...
