Message from John

Dear Friends

Now in the fourth month of our year; why not take some time to pause and be present, contemplate and consider how we are pacing and progressing on this journey through life this year?

Consider my reflections below and arrive fully right where you are!

FULLY ARRIVING IN EVERY STEP IS THE DESTINATION

 

How do we Walk through the World and Live through our Life?

Do we walk like we are trying to get somewhere, living our life ahead of our self?

If so, why not walk as if we have already arrived!

 

Let’s walk as if we have arrived at our destination in each and every step we make.

For each and every step we take and make is integral to the destination.

For each and every step we take and make is the destination!

 

Each and every step needs to be arrived at fully, before there is anywhere else for us to go.

Yet let’s not linger, loiter or lag behind.

Let’s Let-Go and leave easily that step just made.

 

So too, in every moment of every minute of every hour, day, week, month, year, decade, life-time;

Let’s arrive Fully, where and when we are!

Just Here, Just Now; Poised and Present; Purposed to Peace – always already Rightly So!

 


 

NEXT HALF DAY MEDITATION RETREAT

Every 2 months I offer a Half Day Meditation Retreat. These are always well attended and fill up quickly.

Our next retreat is titled:

MEDITATIONS and REFLECTIONS for

‘INNER LISTENING, SEEING, FEELING, KNOWING and BEING’

DATE: SUNDAY 20TH MAY

TIME: 9.00am to 12.00 noon

PLACE: ‘Ratanagiri’ 11 Double View Road, Farrants Hill NSW (Tweed Coast)

COST: ‘DANA’ (your monetary expression of generosity for the Teachings offered).

As this date happens to be John’s  Birthday, if you wish to stay for lunch afterwards please bring a plate of food to share and enjoy the afternoon with John and Hanna.

MONDAY EVENING MEDITATION GROUP  

Our weekly Monday Evening Meditation Group continues through the cooler months of the year. Do bring a jumper or shawl along to wear as our bodies often cool down during the meditation.

DATE: Every Monday

TIME: 6.30pm to 7.30pm

PLACE: ‘Ratanagiri’ 11 Double View Road, Farrants Hill NSW (Tweed Coast)

PSYCHOLOGY SESSIONS WITH JOHN – COUNSELLING, COACHING, MENTORING (FACE TO FACE / SKYPE / PHONE)

With over 30 years of Practice and Study of Mindfulness and Meditative Disciplines and 10 years as a Buddhist Monk, John brings a unique approach to his work as a Psychologist.

Using a Mindfulness and Wisdom based CBT approach together with Meditative Neuro – Psych Mind Training, John helps clients work and heal through a variety of issues and illnesses.

 

You can see John for Face to Face Individual or Couples Consultations at Farrants Hill or Kingscliff on the Tweed Coast; Medicare / Private Health Fund Rebates are available.
